Take Advantage of Janet Schlarbaum Opportunities By Suzanne Lieurance.

Do you know how to take advantage of opportunities that come your way?

Do you even recognize all of the wonderful opportunities that are available to you right now, if you just open the door?

Or, do you tend to think you could be successful “if only______” (fill in the blank with whatever you THINK you are waiting for)?

Highly successful people tend to take advantage of whatever opportunities come their way. In fact, many of these people tend to believe that success is just “an opportunity waiting to happen.” They EXPECT wonderful opportunities to come to them. Which means they are always on the lookout for some pleasant possibility, and usually they are not disappointed.

They open the door to realize, “the sky is the limit.” You know many people like this. They’re the ones who “make lemonade” when presented with a bag of lemons because they have recognized the lemons for their potential – they represent an opportunity for something better. Successful people don’t bemoan what they don’t have.

They use what they DO have to realize their potential, which means they often become more and more successful as time goes on. Today, make a list of all the skills, resources, and opportunities you DO have. Try to see things in a new way so that you aren’t missing the opportunities that are right there before you. Then decide how you will use these things to your advantage.

Opportunity knocks every day.

But it’s up to you to open the door.

Try it!

There are many secrets in life. Though scientists have been conducting researches on human mind and body, they have not yet succeeded in totally revealing the mystery regarding them. There are certain secrets lying behind personal success also.

Earnest desire is the most important quality needed for achieving success in life. The raw materials, opportunity, resources, wealth etc are more than enough in this world. Personal success does not depend on chance, destiny, luck or good fortune. Rather it depends on goal setting, hard work, discipline, vision, responsibility etc. Human mind has tremendous potential. Our sub conscious mind acts as the life guidance system in leading us towards our goals and dreams. The most important thing that we should possess in order to become successful is to have specific aims and dreams. Our sub conscious mind should be fed with our aims in short phrases. If such phrases are repeated constantly our mind will lead us to our destination.

Success does not come overnight. It needs perseverance. Personality development, knowledge accumulation etc are indispensable for achieving success.

Success in life is great when it’s achieved, but you may very well know that success doesn’t come without some failures. To be truly successful in life it’s those times of failure that matter most. What you do will determine just how much success you will have. But how do you guarantee success after a failure?

The key can be found in a quote by Horace Greeley who said, ‘Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wing, and only character endures.’ Character is the key to long-term success. Character isn’t always the source of failure but character is always exposed in times of failure.

If you fail in a certain area and you have a terrible character, you will have to have some major life changes in order to repair the damage that is done by your character flaws. But if you have a strong character you will be ale to rebuild success and, many times, be able to do it faster than you did previously. If you built success with the right character the first time, you already have a strong foundation to build upon.

You see, character is a funny thing. It will either be the bedrock that stands strong and helps you endure through all the good and bad times in life. Or it will be the quicksand that swallows up anything that you build upon it. However, the choice is up to you as to which type of foundation you want. To guarantee success after failure, the bedrock of your character must be built on integrity, honor, and trustworthiness.

By Sri Nachimuthu

Success is a word, which is more liked and sought for by
everyone in the world, whereas failure is viewed as more
dreaded one and people want to avoid it. But basically success
or failure has an impact as such, on how it is defined and
understood. Success is generally defined as the achievement or
accomplishment of a task i.e. only the end result is seen and
not the means through which it is attained. Success can
beautifully be defined as the ‘Succession of successful days’.

Success actually is an outcome of short-term obstacles;
set backs/failures and more than success it is failures that
offer us a gift of learning. So failure can thus be defined as
an unexpected, short-term result that challenges our progress
and that which provide disguised opportunities for learning and
development. Failure is often considered as a misfortune,
rather as the seeds for tomorrow’s greatest success. Such a
positive frame of mind ability to see the magnificent in the
minimal and developing a vision of seeing the huge banyan tree
(success) remaining dormant and recessive in a small seed is
necessary. Failure is not a defeat, but it is a chance or
evidence to prepare oneself for a change or improvement. When
there is no failure or error in life, there will be no
change/correction and when there is no change/correction, there
is no learning and there is no increase or improvement in
performance. Thus successful failure is the failure that
provides more learning and serves as the foundation for future
success. Success is not really in how high we go up in life,
but how many times we bounce back when we fall down. So one
should always remember that success is just 1% that results
from 99% of what we call as failures. Success cannot be
achieved overnight and the basic formula for success according
to me is being HAAPPPY i.e.

H- Honesty

A-Ambitious

A-Attitude (Positive)

P-Patience

P-Persistence

P-Perseverance

Y-Yearning to succeed.

It is not always necessary that we should try to be a man of
success; the main aim of all of us should be rather becoming
men of value, which will eventually lead to a happy, healthy
and harmonious living.

By Clement Chee

There are three types of people on earth. Those who make things happen, those who see things happen and those who wonder what happen. The fact that you are reading this article simply shows you fall under those who are going to make things happen. Otherwise, why would you bother clicking on the title, am I right?

So if you have something you want to achieve, what is the best way and the fastest way to achieve your dreams and goals? The answer to this is simple. It is to model someone else’s success blueprint.

As easy as it may sound, how exactly do you model someone else’s success blueprint? The following tips should help you understand better. Make sure you follow them through and you will be guaranteed to see things happen.

Model His Physiology

Modeling a person’s physiology simply means modeling the ways a person acts. This would include the way he stands, the way he speaks, the way he looks at people, the way he communicates with people, the way he laughs, the way he walks and the way he does everything. Basically, when you model a person’s physiology, you are modeling the person in whole.

So let’s say you are a golfer and you want to improve your golfing skills fast, who can be your model of excellence? You can probably take Tiger Wood. Of course he is already number one in the world and in fact, he is your very good helper when it comes to golfing.

You may even try this. When you tap into Tiger Wood’s physiology, you will be amazed how much improvement you will see. Simply model the way he holds the golf club, the way he smiles, the way he pumps his fist when he gets the golf ball into the hole, the way he looks at the golf ball, the way he focuses on hitting the golf ball, the way he stands, the way he gets ready and most importantly, imagine yourself to be Tiger Wood.

That was another powerful method when you imagine yourself as someone so is so great in what he is doing. The reason why so many successful individuals are able to achieve great things within a short period of time is because they do more than just modeling other people’s psysiology. They also imagine themselves to be someone great and eventually they see huge improvement in what they do.

Adopt His Lifestyle

The second tip for modeling a person’s success is to adopt his lifestyle. This includes the time he wakes up in the morning, the hours he uses to work, the way he structures his office desk, the amount of time he puts in doing exercises.

If you can afford, you may also want to observe the type of car he drives, the kind of house he stays and the kind of lifestyle he adopts. Usually when you do this, you will tap into his state of mind and lifestyle and you will be able to be like him in so many ways, even though not exactly the same.

One word of advice. You need to be wise when it comes to modeling his lifestyle. Do not get yourself into debt when you are not ready to buy a BMW or Benz. Usually at the initial stage, you may want to consider modeling the person’s physiology until you achieve great results and are ready to go to the next stage.
